Lighting Retrofit Program
Upgrading your facility's lighting is the first step towards making your building more energy efficient. Replacing inefficient incandescent lighting with compact fluorescent lights (CFLs) and high-efficient linear fluorescent tubes is an inexpensive investment that offers a fast payback. Air Conditioning Rebate Program
The Air Conditioning Rebate Program promotes significant energy savings, lower cooling costs and a positive impact on the environment. It pays cash rebates to NPU's commercial, industrial, institutional, agricultural and residential electric service customers to help defray the cost of buying high-efficiency HVAC systems purchased on or after January 1, 2009. variable frequency drives installed on fans,
pumps or process equipment in your commercial or

MotorUp! Program The MotorUp initiative is a program that offers NPU commercial, institutional and agricultural electric services customers attractive incentives to upgrade to premium efficiency electric motors. The MotorUp! Program covers products purchased and installed or placed in stock on or after January 1, 2009.
Benefits include dramatic reductions in operating costs, electrical consumption and carbon emissions, along with greater reliability.

Clean Cities Program
Clean Cities is a program sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy, which is designed to encourage the use of Alternative Fuel Vehicles (AFV's) and their supporting infrastructure throughout the nation.
Norwich participates in the Clean Cities Program. Its mission is to advance the nation's economic, environmental, and energy security by supporting local decisions to adopt practices that contribute to the reduction of petroleum consumption.
